We are taking part in the National Audit of Care at the End of Life – also called NACEL. NACEL looks at the care people have received at the end of their lives across England and Wales. This feedback is given by staff, carers and loved ones and helps to improve the care given to patients at the end of their life in hospital. We are asking people who have been bereaved this year to share their views with us on the care and support they experienced whilst in hospital. You can find out more about the survey and complete it online on our website – leedsth.nhs.uk/endoflifesurvey. We understand that this is a really emotive topic. If you find this difficult and would like to speak to someone for support, please contact the bereavement nursing team on leedsth-tr.bereavementnurse@nhs.net.
