Stay out of everyone’s business and run your own bag up. That’s the only way. Too many people try to help others more than they can even help themselves. That’s not helping. That’s setting both sides up to fail. If you can’t support yourself, why should anyone rely on you? You help them today, they depend on you tomorrow, and when you fall off… now they fall with you. That’s not help. That’s borrowed stability. And the worst part? When you overextend like that, eventually you’ll need help back. Now your “help” came with a cost, even if you never meant it to. People don’t need help that turns into a debt. I’m not saying don’t help people. You should help someone every day. Just make sure it’s something you can actually sustain.
