@RiskSystem_Game I am wary of games that give you more verbs as you progress. Sometimes it's good - it feels magical and exciting and world changing. But many times it's overused (just like big numbers).

The more I think on it I've started to wonder, are there action games that are improved by a progression system? Excluding things like an MMO, I'm thinking games where the fun is skillful execution like Ninja Gaiden, DMC etc...

@RiskSystem_Game Monster Hunter syncs skill progress with provided challenges. You don't really miss the high level armor skills when starting a new character, but it's kind of fun when you get there (also ignorable if you're gud enough). Also hi

I didn't realize until years later that people had an issue with the size of the original controller and that it was nick named "The Duke"
