@RightHandOfG0D KYC is standard practice especially for technology based companies. Technically, developers are still anonymous to the entire community. Just one party knows who they are. I don't understand the unwillingness to KYC.

@LUNCNinjaNode votes "No" to proposal 12033 to remove the requirement of developer identity verification for L1 developers. This proposal was raised and supported by individuals who believe that blockchain security protocols should be sacrificed in the interest of attracting more developers to #TerraClassic. This is not only a reckless and dangeous suggestion, but also very unnecessary. #TerraClassic does not need to take such risks since we are making very positive progress with the security protocol and current verified developers whom have been very respectful. Removal of the KYC for developers requirement will result undoing current positive progress which has attracted verified developers and will also open the gateway (again) to the known set of bad actors and other anonymous divisive figures who are only interested in controlling community pool funds. This is not a worthy trade-off for the chain and community. We reserve the right to change our vote to "No with Veto" if required. #LUNCcommunity #LUNC #USTC

Which LUNC validator pays more rewards?
Over the past 11 days, I conducted an experiment to verify CFL's claims about paying more rewards than the rest of the LUNC validator set.
CFL encouraged delegates from other validators to redelgate to their validator based on screenshots from Terra Station wallet showing their validator as paying a 3x higher rewards rate compared to the rest of the validator set. This led to a large redelegation movement to CFL.
The question is: Did those who redelgated receive more rewards?
To answer the question, I staked 10,000,000 $LUNC to Community First LUNC and 10,000,000 $LUNC to Ninja Node 🥷🏼⚡
The results:
Staking with Community First LUNC Validator paid:
- 19,583 $LUNC
- 64 $USTC
Staking with @LuncNinjaNode paid:
- 20,139 $LUNC
- 66 $USTC
If you were expecting 3x more rewards from CFL as it was shown on Terra Station - this experiment shows that you recieved virtually the same (slightly less) as compared to staking with other validators.
In summary:
- Rewards rate on Terra Station is not an indication of the rewards you will receive.
- In reality, rewards rate will be equal across all validators.
- Differences in rewards received will be as a result of the individual validator's commission.
If you wish to determine the rewards paid by a specific validator, you can use validator.info's LUNC validator section to view the APR for each validator.

#LUNCcommunity There's been some heated debates recently about certain validators showing a much higher rewards rate than other validators on Terra Station. According to those who know the chain well, a higher rewards rate shown on Terra Station does not mean that you will be receiving more rewards from that validator. This didn't stop those who seek higher rewards from redelegating to the validators showing higher rewards, however. The question is, did those who redelgated actually receive more rewards? To answer the question, I decided to conduct a comparison between a validator that shows a much higher rewards rate and a validator that shows the standard rewards rate. The test is as follows: - Stake 10,000,000 $LUNC to Community First LUNC validator (showing 3x more rewards) - Stake 10,000,000 $LUNC to Ninja Node validator (showing standard rewards) - Monitor rewards received from each validator over a few days. The comparison started today at 11:01 UTC. Here's some screenshots from the initial staking activity. Let's see what happens...

I've received slightly higher rewards from @LuncNinjaNode.
Assuming that my own validator isn't some sort of super extra rewards machine, this shows us is that people should not expect the rewards rate shown on Terra Station.
Even if is shows a rewards rate of 3x more than other validators, you're not getting that. If that was the case, then my own validator should not have provided the most staking rewards thus far.
If you want to know how much rewards you'll be receiving I think Validator.info shows the most accurate APR %
- Ninja Node: 11.62%
- Community First LUNC: 11.28%
This looks like a more accurate reflection of what has happened.

All validators now have a minimum fee of 2.5% which is necessary to enable higher quality of validators in the active set.
All blockchains have a fee which helps to pay the costs of running a validator.

🔄 We have made an on-chain transaction of $660 which cost us $3.3 instead of $0.00033. Sounds high for a blockchain known for low fees, doesn't it? Here’s why:
💸 The current transaction fee is low, but there's a catch - a 0.5% charge as tax. This is one of the reasons why on-chain transactions are so low.
