Dear RJ💙 When you were three a developmental pediatrician diagnosed you with autism and told you all the things that you would NEVER do or be. One of the things that she said is that you would never have meaningful employment and all we heard was basically that your life wouldn’t have much meaning… Well, here you are 9 seasons in with an organization that gave you a shot at employment and gave your life meaning and purpose and now you have TWO World Series rings with your name on them!! 🎉🙏🏽🏆🏆 You work so hard. You grind and grind and always have a hug for everybody in the organization, whether it’s after a tough game or you’re unpacking the team at four in the morning …no matter what you always bring joy to that clubhouse. You’re so passionate about your job. You went from having no friends as a child to having a whole club house full of buddies who love you and care for you like family. It saddens me to post that Kenya Natasha Martin, my 2nd of three sisters, passed away this morning. She was 49. Kenya had suffered with a host of health issues over the years, and while it’s painful that she is no longer here, she is also no longer in pain. Kenya, the mother of four, was a lover of music, food, family and friends. Please keep my parents, her four daughters and my three siblings and other nieces and nephews in your prayers. We’ll release funeral arrangements later. RIP, Kenya. We love you and will miss you dearly.
