I was looking at the records this season from several of the Hamilton County or Chattanooga HS Football teams.. Without listing schools, the combined record was 45 W & 65 L. The Public schools are getting their butts kicked by the local private schools. Then I looked up the coaching staffs as reported on TSSAA. 💀 (a few teams are winning more than they lose and it’s easy to point them out, the names behind the program makes it make sense.. accomplished hometown boys) Then I looked up each schools football website. ❌ Then I tried to find cool stuff about the teams on social media. 👎🏻 The blueprint to bring excitement to a school, team, and program is right in everyone’s face and no one is implementing it. Marketing is a big deal when it comes to building anything. I’m starting to think that High Schools need to hire outsiders with higher level experience and a career that allows them to fund the majority or all of their salary. If nothing is going to change, we are letting the kids down coming thru Chattanooga. Hope schools start to think outside the box.
