@KurtBenkert What you dont understand is the cap investment for a free agent qb compared to a rookie qb is 4x over 4 years and that money can be easily spent to acquire solid veterans at a lot of weak points instead of lottery tickets.

I do not hate the Raiders. I think they should get a free agent quarterback or trade for one that’s been on the way out. They could get so much capital for that number one overall pick and roll it into a rebuild. I don’t think taking a quarterback number one overall in this draft is smart for them. Whoever they hire at Coach is going to have a time clock that starts ticking. I believe there’s other ways to have a successfully team and I wouldn’t put my eggs in the basket of a rookie quarterback this year. Malik Willis is a great example of a guy I think could be well worth the $. He’d probably be a first round draft pick in this draft. Does that spell it out well enough for all of the Raiders fans that think I hate their organization for whatever reason? I don’t give a shit about your organization one way or another - it’s my opinion on how to rebuild the team.
