Lena-Winslow/Pearl City Girls Track and Field

The 800m Relay team took 4th! (Martens, Diffenderfer, Johnston, Anderson) as did the 3200m Relay team ( Gerber, Lessman, Murphy, and Dorty)!!

The LWPC Girls Track Team finished 5th out of 13 teams on Saturday at the very competitive Byron Indoor Invitational. Placing 2nd: Kaiser in the High Jump (ranked 3rd in indoor state) and the 1600m Relay team of Diffenderfer, Martens, Pieper, Anderson (now ranked 5th)!

Finished up another great week of our summer speed and strength program with this Friday’s theme day: cut-offs and anything but a water bottle!! Keep up the hard work!!

Rain delay last night at Winnebago!

The LWPC Girls took first at their meet tonight against Du-Pec, Dakota, and Milledgeville-Eastland. There were numerous PR's tonight for these athletes, the sun was shining, and the bus was rocking on the way home! It was a good night!

It was another cold track practice this morning followed by our traditional Easter Egg Hunt!! Looking forward to some warmer temps this week as we head to Fulton on Tuesday, Pecatonica on Thursday, and Rockford Christian on Saturday!!

The LWPC girls and LW Boys won the Co-Ed Classic tonight in Lena!! It was so much fun to watch these teams compete together!!

Congratulations to Taylor Ditzler-Amill for being awarded the Most Valuable Track Athlete Award! She scored the most points for her team during this season! Taylor was also an exceptional leader and teammate!!

Congratulations to the 1600 M Relay team members for earning All-Conference Honors this season: Taylor Ditzler-Amill, Belle Jordan, Grace Groezinger, and Stella Prasse. Their Sectional performance enabled them to win this honor!!! So proud of you!!

Great meet tonight at Pecatonica!! Proud of these girls for competing and cheering their teammates on. Many PR’s!!
