🥳 It is PUBLICATION DAY🥳 I hope to receive my copies of the book soon. Let me introduce #Chapter 5 of Sylvia Plath and the Supernatural, which is titled "Ritual Magic and Plath’s Poetic Spellcasting", which was probably my favourite chapter to write.

I’m excited to launch the Digital Minds Fellowship (Aug 3–9, 2026, University of Cambridge). Digital minds/AI consciousness may become one of the most consequential issues of the future — and the world will need people prepared to navigate it. This is a fully funded, intensive programme for 15 exceptional participants working on the philosophical, empirical, and strategic challenges surrounding digital minds. Application deadline: March 27. More details below 👇

You know it’s over when a man who was educated at one of the best private schools in the country, went to Oxford, became a barrister, took Silk at 42 and was DPP is “working class”. It’s idiot statements like this which make people distrust his judgment.

11 months after his release from the concentration camps, Viktor Frankl gave a set of lectures on moving beyond optimism and pessimism to find life's deepest source of meaning. They were lost for decades, never before published in English—and now they are: themarginalian.org/2026/02/06/yes…

Researchers have found that individuals who frequently signal their victimhood often possess high levels of narcissism. The study suggests that this "victim mindset" is rooted in emotional instability and a need for recognition. dlvr.it/TQZ3sV
