Filed the police report, now I probably have to sue @PayPal. Can anyone @PayPal try to help me first?

After 5 months and numerous calls and chats about a missing refund, @PayPal, they told me today that I should report them to the police. I don’t understand @PayPal customer service, they’re so incompetent they actually want the police called on them?!! I have no option I guess.

@TrevorABranch My kid learned the term “butt cheeks” last month in kindergarten and that’s probably been the highlight of his year!! Maybe 1st we’ll start some Bayesian analyses!

@ecologyofgavin @ali__johnston I believe you spent time waking the stacks at the library instead and photocopying articles you wanted to read again! You received papers to review via snail mail and then you wrote handwritten notes on them.

@LisannePetracca I didn’t even get into how the bus driver saw me 20ft from the bus stop and just kept going! Or how I went to the same doors for the building that I have used for 6 years and they were locked. The building is huge, I had to find an open door and weave my way through the maze!

First day of teaching. Missed my bus bc I went back for my hdmi adapter. Get to class, can’t find hdmi adapter - dropped it when I took out my lunch in my office, no where near where I teach. No worries, I’ll use the classroom computer…nope, keyboard broken! I needed a plan C!

@LabGardner yikes hope it got better from there! reminds me last smster when it snowed and i ran to class bc i was late, realized i left my phone in my car (needed it to log in), ran back to the car, and searched frantically until i realized it was in my pocket, then ran back to class 😂

does anyone have a textbook rec for an undergrad class on wildlife modeling? something nice and introductory that would cover a broad range of stuff, e.g., resource selection functions, cap-recap, occupancy, etc
