One of the largest impacts on our second half offensive turnaround was @LeoSoneson10 The uncommitted '27 1st Team All Conference 3B numbers over his final 22 games: .400 BA, 1.221 OPS, 24 H, 4 2B, 4 HR, team high RBI. In the words of our infield coach @LabarTim, Leo displays elite glove work at 3B. He even stepped up and filled our closer role last spring. Leo's average bat speed is in the low 70s. Leo's drive is contagious and giving max effort is his standard. He has already physically transformed himself over the last 12-18 months, but he'd be the first to tell you he's still working. In case you missed it… Lorain County CC’s Jackson Frame earned Conference Player of the Year — marking the FIRST ever Commodore to earn such high honors. Jackson absolutely physically and mentally transformed himself over the last 8 months. How did he do it? He worked his tail off, he was EXTREMELY coachable, and he grew as a leader every single day.
