Maletis Strike

Don’t just hang with people you know. Introduce yourself to the strikers, offer your support, and thank them for their courage.

Reminders about picket line etiquette: · Wear your union or DSA gear, if possible. Dress for rain and chilly temps. · Maletis workers are on strike, not us. Follow their lead. · Offer support, don’t make demands.

THE STRIKE IS ON. At 2pm Monday, 140 drivers, warehouse and sales employees walked off the job to protest the company’s illegal and unfair labor practices -- including bargaining in bad faith, interrogation of workers, and coercive statements intended to chill union activity. 📷

It’s time to honor the workers who were unfortunately killed on the job in 2022. We will have our annual Workers Memorial Day Program on Monday, April 24th, at 6:00pm, right before our Council meeting. Please join us for this important event to honor their memory. In Solidarity
