New Forest East has a big population approaching or in retirement. Some might call them 'older' but I know that's not how many of the people I've spoken with feel! But - having spoken with volunteers and attendees at community centres such as Sway Luncheon Club - I also know they have been neglected by a Conservative government, who have too long taken them for granted as a 'core' voter group. I have a track record of standing up for people in this age group. I recently published a strategy on improving living standards for this cohort, which was well received by civil society organisations. If elected to serve as the MP for New Forest East, bringing security in retirement will be one of my top priorities for the constituency. #Ageing #Retirement #Pensions #Labour #VoteChange2024
