Today on 10.01.2026, the Labour Department, Pulwama conducted an IEC campaign at IGC Lassipora, engaging traders and workers on the New Labour Codes, PM-SYM and other welfare schemes. Grievances were also heard on the spot to strengthen formalisation and social security coverage

As part of the ongoing IEC campaign on Labour Codes, an awareness-cum-interactive session on New Labour Codes & Social Security Schemes was held today at AIIMS Site Awantipora. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation, promoting workers’ rights and social security coverage.

On 29.12.2025, the ALC Office Pulwama released an amount of ₹2,22,14,230 under the JKBOCW Welfare Scheme as Education Assistance in favour of 2,780 registered Construction Workers through DBT mode.

Labour Department, Pulwama conducted an IEC campaign at Chatapora to sensitise traders and workers about the new Labour Codes, PM-SYM & other welfare schemes. Grievances of stakeholders were also addressed on the spot to strengthen formalisation & enhance social security coverage
