73-year-old Dr. Italo Venturelli claims that he once operated on a living alien being linked to the famous 1996 Varginha UFO case in Brazil, often called “Brazil’s Roswell.” He says this experience suggests that humans may already have had direct contact with an intelligent nonhuman life form.
According to Dr. Italo’s account, he was on duty at the Regional Hospital in Varginha on the day the alleged nonhuman being was brought in.
He explains that another doctor, Marcos Vinico Neves, first treated the being and stitched a wound on its head, but no medical records were kept, and Neves died in 2018.
Dr. Italo says he was shown a short black-and-white video of the being as a patient and then spent three to four minutes at its bedside, where he was asked to examine it visually.
He states that in his 46 years as a doctor, after thousands of surgeries, it was obvious to him that this was not a human being. He describes it as looking like a seven-year-old child, with lilac-colored eyes and a teardrop shape to both the eyes and the skull, and says it gave off a calm, peaceful feeling.
He says he felt the being was very intelligent, even more intelligent than he was, and that looking at it felt like looking at an angel. He says it did not communicate telepathically but in an emotional way, through its eyes, which he felt showed power, focus, and compassion.
At one moment, the being looked at him, then at the blue sky outside the window, and then back at him, as if asking to be freed.
However, no Brazilian government agency has officially confirmed that extraterrestrial beings were recovered. El País has also reported that Varginha's City Council says it has never issued any statement confirming military claims surrounding the incident.
