‘Night in the Blue’ Empowerment Conference Recap! Lady Little Blues were accompanied by 60 other @ligonmiddle students across all grade-levels! It was such a great time!

My cup is still so full from my ‘Night in the Blue’ Empowerment Conference! This conference created space to celebrate and empower 85 @ligonmiddle students! Thank you to my colleagues, friends, family, and community members who made this event such a success! 💙

Small group conversation cards were a HIT! We got to have deeper conversations with our Baby Blues about social media, friendship, peer pressure, body image, perception of self and an accomplishment from the last week! 💙

Our WHM initiative to support the Women’s Center of Raleigh, had 4 components: empowerment notes, school-wide donation drive, donated packed lunches and an activity with the women of the center! Thank you to everyone that supported these efforts! 💙💛
