mannnnn I cant sleep I dont know what is happening to me but my body has been having a mega hard time sleeping anyone got tricks to sleep cause working on models for 15 hours a day and 9 hours of trying to relax after working on art so long is stressing me I just cant sleep

Workflow advice for VTuber model artists! - ALWAYS back up your files on an external hard drive or cloud. I do it about every 5-10 hours, especially for commission works. - Work step by step, organization is key for big projects. Everyone has their own process, but mine is: Draft > Color draft > Body base if any > Face render > Outfit flats > Hair > Outfit render > Accessories and details > Toggles and emotes > PSD prep. - Use different colors when making flats, it makes cutting way easier to read. Being methodic really helps to make the process less overwhelming. - Keep a flat canvas sized layer to select when you copy/flip an element, it will land in the right spot symmetrically. - Check every hidden spot. Ask yourself if it would still look good once the rigger moves things or if there's any empty spot. Try moving things yourself, like glows or extended textures/shadows. It also helps for client previews or rigging refs! - If you want side angles to match your style, provide manually deformed angles refs. I liquify and move elements until it looks like I would draw it: I start by deforming head shape, then nose and mouth, then the outer side eye, and finally the other eye. - Provide a ref sheet listing all emotes and toggles. I like to explain how to use them so it matches my vision, for example: "Crying emote: hide layer EyeHL1, EyeHL2" + a screenshot as reference. This is very useful to help the rigger have a visual guide to get familiar with the file easily. - Consider hiring an assistant if you hate PSD prep. Prices usually range from 30 to 150€, and it can really help if this step overwhelms you and if you can afford it! You can also use file organization auto action on CSP there are some available for VTuber models, or make your own. - If you're on CSP, use layer color coding to organize your layers before naming them. I use Green for finished layers, Red for WIP, Black for lineart etc. - Once the artwork is done, stay involved during rigging. There are almost always touch ups needed on both sides, and keeping a good relationship with your VTuber kids is important. Finishing the art doesn't mean the project is fully over. I almost always spot artwork errors on the rig (missing layers, symmetrical parts that werent, etc), and that's ok, it happens, but you should be there to spot it! Otherwise the end result might not match the art PNG. I hope these helps, don't hesitate to ask me other questions in the comments if you have any!
