COVID-19 cases are rising and winter is drawing closer. 1) If you have not been vaccinated, now is the time. 2) If you are offered a booster please take up the offer. 3) Ventilation, masks in crowded indoor spaces and hand washing remain important.

The long term diagnosis could be around 18 months but I am really really hoping it could at least be a few years once I can fight it off and keep the tumour small? As mad as it is I am not going to breakdown and will continue to stay positive. Thanks @WaltonCentre 🥰❤😘🤗🤞👍💪

Morning everyone..early I know 👋. Just to update I had a confirmation yesterday after histology results that my brain tumour is definitely Grade 4 Glioblastoma. Unfortunately prognosis is very poor, will never fully heal and I can start planning the radiotherapy and chemotherapy

Right then everyone. 2 days post brain tumour surgery. Look great 🤣ha ha😜 Only kidding as painful and sore but still alive!🙄hurray 😍. Care @WaltonCentre amazing ...carry on! Next phase soon radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Just letting you all know. Love you loads 💗💕🙄🤗

Experienced A&E yesterday first hand. Superb level of care @SONHStrust. The level of compassion was astounding. Through a crisis and pandemic what a team! So proud 💙 of our amazing NHS. Thanks for looking after me and to the lovely guy who brought me the best cup of tea! 🍵 😇

Evidence has shown that people infected with #Covid-19 can have very mild or no symptoms (asymptomatic) and can transmit the virus to others without being aware. It is important that we take steps to reduce the risk of transmission. Keep washing your hands to protect others!
