@realalexclark @barnes_law Alex, with all due respect Massie is not OG MAHA, it's almost impossible to get him to vote yes for the Kay Hagan Tick Act. He gives almost no attention to tickborne illnesses (I'm a constituent and I fight for this locally)

@spoonfulofhan The replies to this thread are so heartbreaking. This was me, for so long. If not for my parents I wouldn't have eaten. People forget chronic illnesses and disabilities can bring other hurdles like special diets & needs. There are SO many people in this boat

Scenario: disabled person that is home bound and cannot cook for themselves. They cannot go to the grocery store. They have no loved ones to do it for them and cannot afford at home daily care. How do they eat? Are you doing it for them for free? Quickly. I’m guessing not.

@cynthialspell As someone who was bed bound for 8 years & isolated to my home for 10 (due to a chronic health condition), my heart breaks for u both. I feel the sadness in every word & her pain of missing so much. I too missed so much and grieved a lot. Praying fiercely for you both 🙏🏻

@IdiotTracker Lol, my mother is an MD. I grew up close to many MDs who I absolutely adore and consider my second family. I do not seethe of contempt for Doctors. However, when I meet one with a history of mistreating patients then yes I’ll ask why a Doctor who hates patients is in medicine

@QueenLa_Queefa If there is a Doctor who has a history of bad behavior consistently then I’d say it’s safe to assume they don’t really like working with patients, so why do it?

@LadyofLyme I’ll say this, not an excuse, but as someone who has worked in healthcare. We go into it hoping to help people, we find ourselves working for insurance approval. That & COVID has been rough on HC providers. We still NEED to be respectful. No excuses. It’s been hard for all.
