@missyMmcbeth @MidTnAthletics Especially when you build a public school off-season when so many kids participate in various club programs. It’s never perfect but having an open dialogue with your athletes on the front end helps. Communication is key

@MidTnAthletics Your stance is the exact problem that I’m discussing. Each side wants to blame the other. Nobody wants to make the adjustment.
Everybody digs their heels in. Nobody gets what they want, and the athlete is stuck in the middle of all of it.

Private sector coaches blasting the high school coaches and vice versa is such a tiresome take.
If you’re not adjusting training based on what’s happening at the other facility an athlete trains out of you’re just as big of a problem as the person you’re blaming no matter how great you think your system is.
There are idiots in both sectors. Check the mirror first to make sure you’re not one of them.

Separation of church and state still exists. If people want Bible study in schools, then send the kids to a faith based school.
