AI companies are paying artists to train their data sets. On top of that every major studio who had paid their artist to design is feeding that into AI data sets and working out license agreements. So... when Party Animals says you can put their "IP" into AI you arent stealing. They're giving you permission to use their IP for the contest. Your take is the most uninformed, uneducated take based on how it started, not how it ended. Studios are either paying, or being paid to put their ips in. Those studios paid the artists and the artist dont own what they create if they were paid to create it for a company. Its different if its an individual creator owned IP. But if a network, studio, major publisher owns it, all bets are off.

In doing so, we overlooked the potential offense and harm that the ongoing debate surrounding AI-generated content could cause to our players and the creator community. We feel deeply uneasy and apologetic about this, and we sincerely accept the criticism. After carefully considering voices from all sides, we held a vote across our major platforms regarding whether the event should proceed. Based on your feedback and our own internal review and reflection, we have made the following decision: Effective immediately, the "Golden Paw Awards" event is officially canceled. To the players who were troubled, disappointed, or offended by this situation, we would like to once again express our sincere apologies. To every player who voiced criticism, participated in the vote, and pushed us to re-evaluate this issue, we would like to express our most sincere gratitude. Moving forward, we will approach related topics with a much more humble and cautious attitude. Before launching any future community creation events, we pledge to communicate thoroughly, listen earnestly to your feedback, and ensure we have reached a community consensus before deciding whether to go ahead. Additionally, we will continue to collect, organize, and act upon player feedback regarding gameplay mechanics and other areas. Attention, Helldivers. A hotfix is planned for Wednesday, May 6. This will revert the Hive Guard and fix an issue introduced in Patch 6.2.1 where armor values were incorrectly swapped between the Legs and Claws. Updated Hive Guard stats: Main Body - Armor increased from 1 → 2 - Health increased from 375 → 500 Head - Armor decreased from 4 → 3 Front Legs - Armor increased from 2 → 3 Claws - Armor decreased from 3 → 1 We are reviewing player feedback, including durability damage, so next week we will also address some of these questions and others which our founder has received in various forums.
