NOW IMAGINE... you are on an investigation trip, and in just two days, he helped you with everything .. from the paperwork to driving for hours, so you could sleep peacefully after an exhausting day... He is someone who respected your boundaries after your almost physical confrontation with your boss, even helping you fasten your shirt buttons ... He protected you when you were physically attacked in garage and took care of your injured hand. He played along with every game you started on this trip even while he didn't truly understand your intentions, made sure you were comfortable sitting on the floor , and drank with you. He kept the secret of your hobby and was genuinely apologetic for violating your personal space like that .. Even when he was clearly furious with you , he still showed up at the art club and spent hours sketching you. When he finished, you saw exactly how beautiful you are through his eyes... After all of that, wanting to kiss or hug someone isn’t "out of nowhere" .. Physical attraction combined with that level of care you don't receive and don't expect to receive in your daily life creates a natural desire for physical contact... I agree all your words that's why I'm saying I understand what kinda chemistry you're seeing here, the way he looks at her subtle smile and appreciating her even when she tries to be absolutely wild .. I can see the same and I really enjoy with it .. And I really hope they'll play somewhere as main leads but on the other hand I really enjoy with main couple too and understand why main couple in our kdrama makes sense .. If this was some rich powerful couple story , main couple goofy vibes would have failed in it 👀

You cannot tell me the chemistry between Shin Hye-sun and Kim Jae-wook is not doing something to the narrative. Like yes, it may not be what the story requires, but it’s definitely what my eyes are seeing I get the intention behind the casting, I really do but at the same time, the tension we’re getting elsewhere is too loud to ignore 😭 Basically the story chose sense, but my heart chose chaos

Honestly, I understand what you mean, and yes, they have incredible chemistry. They are so compelling together that I’ll happily eat every single crumb of their scenes .. However, these two give off more of a "rich, powerful power-couple" vibess, whereas the story actually revolves around two goofy leads, In-ah and Gi-jun. If they had cast #KimJaewook as Gi-jun instead of #GongMyoung, it wouldn't have served the comedic elements nearly as well. The story would have taken on an entirely different, darker tone. This Kdrama isn't about two elite power players falling in love... It’s about goofy leads going from enemies to lovers era .. Kim Jae-wook’s aura is much more composed and intense, but for Gi-jun, they needed someone with "Golden Retriever" energy and Gong Myoung is the perfect fit for that .. SO .. In short, the story doesn't actually require that kinda dark type of lead chemistry for leads , which is why they are perfect in the roles they play. Kim Jae-wook works perfectly as the intriguing boss, while In-ah brings a strict yet humorous energy. At the end of the day, the story narrative and direction is what matters most .. honestly, I think we wouldn't be able to appreciate their chemistry if they weren't playing these exact versions of In-ah and Jae-yeol. #FilingForLove || #ShinHaeSun ... ☆

@Lagom_m I agree. When Yirang mentioned a 'feeble bloodline' regarding her son’s anxiety in episode 2, she was likely implying the King is mentally weak. Her remark that he was better off dead may have pushed him over the edge.

The king was suicidal I'm almost sure .. ☠️ After watching this whole scene with her father's expressions when he asked her what she has done .. I don't think this plot point will be that obvious as they draw . I feel like if there is going to be a major plot twist, it has to be regarding this incident.. We already had one twist with Lee Ahn possessing the King's will. Another twist could be that while Yi-rang believes she started the fire during her last fight with the King, the fire shown in that fight flashbacks doesn't look severe enough to be fatal .. What if the King intentionally set it himself after she left? .. In all the flashbacks, he appears depressed. Furthermore, in the latest flashbacks with Yi-rang and Lee Ahn, it is shown that he frequently ran away and left Yi-rang alone ... Perhaps he was suicidal who knows .. Or maybe, after the Queen Mother left King's room , someone else might have set the fire from the outside.. But if before I had doubts about this man , after this particular scene I feel he haven't done it .. It simply doesn't make sense that the King wouldn't be able to escape the blaze from their fight flashbacks if he wanted it .. #PerfectCrown || #PerfectCrownep7
