Lagos Blockchain Week is back! This time, it’s different. For years, Africa has been left out of global decisions, from the Berlin Conference of 1884 till now. But things are changing. Africa is done watching from the sidelines, and Lagos Blockchain Week is here to push that forward. This isn’t just an event. It’s a shift. We’re bringing together VCs, banks, global speakers, Nollywood, creators, developers, and operators, all in one place. With this year’s theme, The Intelligent Economy, the focus goes beyond tech. It’s about connecting capital, culture, and talent, and turning that into real opportunities. Funding, access, collaborations, and exposure, helping ideas turn into reality. This is where conversations move. This is how Lagos steps in. You’re not ready for what’s coming on July 13 to 18, 2026. If you’re late to this, you’re already behind. Turn on notifications.

Is the UK really a prison island? Before you say anything, this and more happened last week: -Clarity Act -Elon vs Sam -Institutions deepening their commitment to the blockchain And lots more to be unleashed tonight at 8pm WAT. “How does it benefit me?” Well, you’ll get to know when you attend. We never host a boring space - said our community member Be there👇🏻

We preach mass adoption like a sermon but realistically it’s cringe. The biggest driver of adoption is less friction. The rush to onboard the world created more noise than opportunity and the people inside the space ended up worse off. Why should anyone be passionate about blockchain when it hasn’t paid off for the ones already here? Watch Bello Opeyemi, the founder of @CashAfricaCo, break down how stablecoins can actually work for the common man on the streets of Lagos. Still on clips from our #LBW2026 first road tour. Expect more gems!

𝗔𝗜 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗸 128𝗸 𝗽𝗹𝘂𝘀 𝗷𝗼𝗯𝘀, 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁.... I just finished listening to the recording of this space held by @LagosBlockWeek where the topic was discussed, Two out of the various reasons that actually stuck with me on this were: >AI is improving and with that offers more and more roles it can handle. >And then companies are just trying to cut costs amidst the global tension. But then this begs the question... How can I survive this "Layoff" saga and keep my job? Stay tuned for the answer to that and also don't miss the next episode of the space happening on Sunday.

@LagosBlockWeek Right now I don’t think anyone is enthusiastic about crypto adoption anymore But with the right structures put in place, the vibes will be back. And yes, the future is really bright for stablecoins.

The better question is what you’ll do with your 30 million while you’re here. Nigeria’s markets are returning 60.97% YTD. If we keep leaving, who builds this? That’s why Lagos Blockchain Week exists. To put Lagos on the map as the city where blockchain meets every sector and where foreign investors finally meet their African counterparts. This year’s edition is not your regular hehe
