The Alberta Freedom crew is pretty quiet while watching 51,000 Albertans have their Charter rights taken from them.

Just a reminder before the Premier's televised announcement that the Alberta gov't chooses to fund our public education system the least. That they choose not to provide the resources for our students. They love to talk about choice, and this is one they should be ashamed about.

Truth and Reconciliation with my grade 5s! Wrote our own land acknowledgements, hung orange ribbons in honour of residential school victims and survivors, smudged and to top it all off i was gifted the most beautiful hand made earrings from our elder.

Kids at the age of 2 know how to say no. They are experts on “refusal skills.” How many of the 11M+ Canadians that have experienced sexual assault used “refusal skills?” Consent is about respecting & responding when someone refuses. That is where the education should start.
