@Lainymac Is that not unusual for this time of year? I thought spring flight preferred holly and later flight preferred ivy. Can I ask where you got them?

@SFbirding I looked in at the Holly Blue spot today just in case there was a cheeky wee butterfly about (after seeing bumblebees). No luck...yet 😏

My first bumblebee of the year just flew past me. Wonder when my first butterfly will put in an appearance.

@Lainymac @SFbirding Just to let you know that the WB Diver is still on the Tay. Watched it make its way along the shoreline today about 3.30 from the Yacht club to the sheltered bay beside the Dundee Port Authority reclaimed land at Stannergate. Long may it remain although likely wo’nt

I couldn't resist another visit to the White-billed Diver in Dundee today and I'm glad I did as @SFbirding and I were treated to some lovely close views of this fantastic bird. #SuperSeabirdSunday

New for my patch today - male Brambling. Clatto Country Park, Dundee.

@SFbirding Yeh, the bird swam right past, watching them as they skipped stones.

@Lainymac I was thinking I kind of wish I'd taken video with my phone when it surfaced offshore in front of the Dad and kid throwing stones. Could only have been about 20 feet or so offshore at that point.
