Congrats to LMP's Juliana Brown and Nam Tran for being named Commended Students in the National Merit Scholarship Program! Commended Students scored in the top 3% of all high school seniors nationwide who entered the competition by taking the 2024 PSAT/NMSQT. @nationalmerit

#WaybackWednesday to our amazing Middle School Bootcamp last month! This year was a huge success with nearly double our normal turnout. It was a week full of new friendships, team-building, and preparing our students for a fantastic year ahead!

The Griffin Block Party *fall sports edition* will be Friday, August 9th from 6:00-8:00 PM at the LMP Football Field. We'll have inflatable games, food trucks, yard games, lots of music, arts and crafts, and much more. Come out and see all our fall student-athletes!

Huge congrats to our Odyssey of the Mind teams who crushed it! Three LMP teams are headed to STATES at the Orange County Convention Center on March 30th. Our teams have been working hard since October, meeting weekly to craft unique solutions for the competition.

Recently, LMP was honored with the @CollegeBoard AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award for empowering young women in AP Computer Science! This award acknowledges schools for their work toward equal gender representation. LMP is one of only 834 schools to be recognized!

Our PreK students had a BLAST learning about the work of the @LakeMaryPD! They got to explore police motorcycles, peek inside patrol cars, and ask lots of great questions. Thanks to the LMPD for making learning so much fun! We're so grateful for your dedication to our community.

Congratulations to the Griffin Football Team for beating Real Life Christian, 34-6, last night at LMP. And with a 4-0 district record (8-2 overall), the Griffins also won the District title! LMP will play next week at home in the SSAA playoffs. Kickoff is at 7:00.

What a great day at our Lower School Meet the Teacher event! It was so much fun to see all the kids meeting their teachers and getting excited for the new school year.

Our PreK, Kindergarten, and 1st-grade classes were front and center for @MicheLeePuppets on Tuesday where they explored math and science! The kids had a blast learning about shapes, seasons, nature, and so much more. #learningisfun

LMP's 7th and 8th graders participated in the 2nd annual Poetry Expo Cafe showcasing their original slam poems. Guests were able to see all of the hard work and creativity that went into the projects and performances while enjoying breakfast treats and coffee.

Last week, our PreK students filled a "Class Kindness Jar" with hearts showing how they performed acts of kindness both at school and at home. Because the jar was completely full, they had a Kindness Popsicle Party to celebrate! #LMProcks #kindnessmatters #classkindnesschallenge
