Great example of a forgotten role player stud — 2014 Boris was tremendous and definitely bothered LeBron. Never had that second awesome playoffs though (unless I’m forgetting something).

@peterjkostis @chambleebrandel 100% this. My putting went to another level when, like Jack said, I made every putt in my mind before I hit it. Greg Norman led the Tour putting stats in '86 setting up off the toe and looping it.

Respectfully, he was a GREAT putter but much like Bobby Locke, Billy Casper and Jack Nicklaus (among others), his stroke was not as great as his ability to get the ball in the hole. Much like great players in those eras, they didn't pursue "perfect" strokes or swings. They just found a way to get the ball to their target and make the putt (especially under pressure). Today there are many great looking swings and strokes that cannot consistently do either.

Looking back at US Opens at Shinnecock I came across many gems, among them one of the greatest putting strokes in the history of golf… Ben Crenshaw

It just occurred to me that I really need to look at players possibly drafted 50 or later. If LAL is going to try to win on the margins like the example the Dodgers have set, they're trying to steal 2way guys at UDFA too.
