if you understood what overvaluing was you would understand the reason why no one has agreed to a trade for klay, PJ, gafford, or Naji the past 2 years. Because the Mavs are overvaluing all of their players while trying to trade them. I agree with you klay has value. if the Mavs include a pick to get off of his contract he definitely has value. But the reason why no one is trading for him is because they want a pick back and no one gives up picks and useful salary for people on negative contracts

and the Lakers wanted Walker Kessler more than Luka wanted Walker Kessler. what's your point? It's irrelevant because of the fact LeBron and AD pushed them into doing the trade. Just like Luka pushed the Lakers into doing the Walker Kessler trade. We just have to hope the Walker Kessler trade works out better than the Russell Westbrook trade did. If it turns out bad just like the Russell Westbrook trade turned out bad Luka is going to get the blame because he pushed for it. The Lakers were fully aware of LeBron's history of signing one year deals threatening to leave teams if people don't follow his orders on roster construction. The Lakers are also fully aware Luka has a player option in two years so they followed Lukas demand for an A+ center and went and got his preferred center

clearly you aren't a Lakers fan because all you care about is the regular season and LeBron. The Lakers only care about championships and we are fully aware that we are not going to win a championship with 43-year-old LeBron and the options we had in free agency. sure we would win 50 games but who cares. we're not interested in building a first or second round exit next year which is what we would be with LeBron. we're interested in building towards the future around Luka

And whose fault is that exactly? Yall could’ve kept both Lebron and Rui and STILL signed Kessler to the same deal. Luka, AR, Lebron, Rui, and Kessler as ur starting 5 with some ancillary players around them like Carr and Zaire on the bench would still get u 50+ wins in the regular season. AND it would’ve been extremely dangerous in the playoffs since they would’ve finally acquired that great defensive big they desperately needed while STILL having 3 different players capable of scoring 25+ PPG. Lakers needed a backup big → signed Looney Lakers needed a 3&D wing → signed Williams Lakers needed a rim protector → traded for Kessler Lakers needed bench scoring → signed Sexton Lakers needed spacing at the 4 → signed Mamu Lakers needed a two-way guard → signed Grimes Lakers needed a young stopper → drafted Carr Rob Pelinka checked EVERY box. This front office is different.

@LakersOnTop1 The Mavs will never trade with us again unless public perception is they won the trade. Even if it was a completely fair trade they wouldn't accept it from the lakers, they would rather accept a worse deal from someone else
