Wildcat Canyon Rd is currently closed at Muth Valley Rd due to a vehicle accident with wires down across the road.

If you see smoke off of Winter Gardens, Lakeside units are working a structure fire on Rockcrest Rd.

If you see smoke to the north, San Diego and Poway units are working a vegetation fire at HWY 67 and Poway Rd. Please stay out of the area.

Brush 1 is participating in the large County Wildland Drill. Along side of many other fire agencies, they will be training and preparing for the upcoming fire season.

Lakeside units responded to reports of a vehicle fire on the W/B lanes of I8 just E of Lake Jennings. A bystander was able to capture the moment 2 bystanders rescued the 2 occupants from the burning vehicle. The 2 occupants and a bystander were transported with burn injuries.

Celebration of Life for Lakeside Firefighter Anthony Cano is set for Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Sonrise Church in Santee, CA. Services will promptly begin at 11am. Please share.
