Absolutely amazing display of talent Y3! 👏 we had singing, dancing, magic tricks and jokes! Congratulations to those voted through to the next round! 😁

Then, we added bicarbonate of soda, food colouring and vinegar to create our eruption!

Next, we added colour to make our volcanoes look realistic.

We are so excited to share our volcano project! We began by creating a basic volcano shape.

Today we were making rock strata drawings, using different shades and tones. We then made a 3D collage version out of different materials 🪨✏️✂️

Congratulations to these two Y3 pupils for completing their Chief Scout’s Bronze Award! A fantastic achievement! 👏

Y3 enjoyed the visit from the Welsh Brass Band Trio yesterday!

Celebrating World Bee Day! 🐝🐝

We ended our trip with an ice lolly and a play in the park, perfect! 😎

We enjoyed exploring the park, seeing trains going over the viaduct, and especially finding hundreds of tadpoles!

We then created sculptures out of rocks and other materials, inspired by the art of Andy Goldsworthy.

Y3 had a super time at Porthkerry Park today! We began by finding interesting rocks after learning about rock types in school. Here are a few of our favourites- can you spot some fossils? 🧐
