Deeply irresponsible segment that asserts without pushback that Hasan “and his ilk” can not possibly have legitimate criticisms of Israel but are merely trying to smuggle their “Jew hatred” into the discourse in the guise of antisemitism. Not once is it mentioned that Israel just today implemented the death penalty but only for Palestinians. Good on Donie for getting Hasan’s response in there but the panel discussion and comments from Tapper are just obscene, especially today.

Imagine being a CNN watcher and seeing @jaketapper go on a 8min pearl clutching segment with two insane zionists crying about @hasanthehun and then an hour later you see this piece on the same guy doing an aid mission. Really undercuts the whole "hes a terrorist" line of argument

Marc doesn’t just win the capitalism debates because he’s smart or a good debater. He also wins them because he’s on the right side. If you understand what capitalism IS & ISN’T, you realize that there’s no pro-capitalism argument that isn’t based on some fallacious reasoning.

Words matter and labels come with history, ideology and baggage. Most men support equal rights, equal opportunity & fair treatment but still don’t call themselves feminists because modern feminism isn’t universally defined. Some people see it as equality. Others see it as adversarial toward men, anti family or dismissive of traditional masculinity. So the hesitation doesnt mean insecurity, it’s usually a disagreement over ideology. People saying “being a feminist doesn’t mean you’re feminine” miss the point. Most men rejecting the label aren’t worried about seeming feminine, they’re questioning what the movement currently represents & whether it aligns with their values. You can support fairness without adopting a movement identity. So no, supporting women is a principle. Feminism is a label.

I call myself “pro-Palestinian” while not being from Palestine. No one reasonable would say there should be another term or make it seem weird.
