Deeply irresponsible segment that asserts without pushback that Hasan “and his ilk” can not possibly have legitimate criticisms of Israel but are merely trying to smuggle their “Jew hatred” into the discourse in the guise of antisemitism. Not once is it mentioned that Israel just today implemented the death penalty but only for Palestinians. Good on Donie for getting Hasan’s response in there but the panel discussion and comments from Tapper are just obscene, especially today.

Imagine being a CNN watcher and seeing @jaketapper go on a 8min pearl clutching segment with two insane zionists crying about @hasanthehun and then an hour later you see this piece on the same guy doing an aid mission. Really undercuts the whole "hes a terrorist" line of argument
The Story Is@CNNTheStoryIs

“It was very sad. You had homes that looked like they were bombed out” — @hasanthehun described to @Elex_Michaelson his experience seeing Havana, Cuba. “I was very sad by all the poverty that I saw. And then I was very angry," he said. He explains why.

Ish really said, “Ask the Palestinians. You can’t change the system from being outside the system.” That’s a real quote. That’s CRAZY lmao. My patience has grown, but not far enough to deal with that politely lmao.

The Black pro capitalists never have an answer when you ask them who will be the permanent underclass that we have to exploit

Marc doesn’t just win the capitalism debates because he’s smart or a good debater. He also wins them because he’s on the right side. If you understand what capitalism IS & ISN’T, you realize that there’s no pro-capitalism argument that isn’t based on some fallacious reasoning.

@Back2DaGarden @TheFilesWithDUB @BenjaminPDixon It was PEAK capitalism. Not just a form. Low cost, high revenue, and keeping all of the profit. Everything done with capitalism now is always trying to get back to that time. Cheaper labor, whether through AI, lower minimum wage, etc.

@XaviercMiller “Most men support equal rights” Y’all talking about the United States of America? Because if so, this shit makes no sense. Feminism has a clear definition. Hence why diff forms of feminism have diff terms to differentiate. Based on what you said, “pro black” has no definition.

Words matter and labels come with history, ideology and baggage. Most men support equal rights, equal opportunity & fair treatment but still don’t call themselves feminists because modern feminism isn’t universally defined. Some people see it as equality. Others see it as adversarial toward men, anti family or dismissive of traditional masculinity. So the hesitation doesnt mean insecurity, it’s usually a disagreement over ideology. People saying “being a feminist doesn’t mean you’re feminine” miss the point. Most men rejecting the label aren’t worried about seeming feminine, they’re questioning what the movement currently represents & whether it aligns with their values. You can support fairness without adopting a movement identity. So no, supporting women is a principle. Feminism is a label.

Should men call themselves “feminists”? Yesterday on the Joe Budden Podcast, @bdotTM and I had a spirited debate about the subject. What do you think?

If your first response to being asked about whether there’s a genocide in Gaza is to ridicule even asking the question or using the term, and then immediately pivot to Oct 7 and Israel’s ‘right to defend’ itself, and then only blaming Trump while ignoring Biden, then you’re probably not the right guy to be the 2028 Dem presidential candidate for the current party base (or American public for that matter).
POLITICO@politico

Dem @GovAndyBeshear is declining to call Israel’s actions in Gaza “genocide.” “That’s becoming one of those new litmus tests that we said we would never do as a party,” he told our @DashaBurns on #TheConversation. Listen to the full interview: politi.co/4uVmEfE

Workshopping a new take that corners are basically the running backs of defense. In a vacuum, sure it's awesome to have an elite guy. But so much of their success is so dependent on what the other 10 guys are doing that I see them more as finishing pieces than the foundation.
