Schedules should matter. I know how talented the SEC is — everybody does. But after watching last weekend, I don’t think you should get credit for rolling through a late-season slate that looks more like a bye week. Meanwhile, programs like Oregon are fighting through heavyweight matchups week after week, and that has to mean something when the committee starts separating contenders.
