Yesterday, we were patrolling Preston to target anti social driving and the use of illegal ebikes and escooters. Several drivers were reported for motoring offences. 8 escooters and 2 ebikes were also seized. #RoadSafety #NoInsurance #OpCenturion #LancsSpecOps

PD Jenni and Zola have passed their licensing and join our department as operational drugs/cash/firearm recovery dogs. PD Zola, we're sure is no stranger to you all. She was our scanning dog (trained in just drugs on people) but has upskilled to be a D/C/F dog. Well done girls

This morning Officers have been on Manchester Road, Nelson, conducting checksites as part of Op Surge. Multiple vehicles stopped, drivers spoken to and documents checked. One stop lead to the seizure of this van. #T1RPU

On 25/2/26 at approxinately 2025hrs Officers were dealing with a serious incident on the M61 requiring a full motorway closure in both directions. However, some drivers thought the block didn't apply to them and breached it. Prosecution paperwork is in the post #T1RPU

You might have seen an increase in Officers in the Ribbleton. Several drivers were stopped and spoken to due to excess speed, some positive conversations with pedestrians raising concerns and one male arrested for drug driving and a quantity of cannabis seized! #T1RPU #T1DOGS

Check sites are being conducted in the Ribbleton Area today! Currently set up on Longridge Road where we will be checking speed, vehicle conditions, driver documents and any required impairment tests!

Please ensure that your licence status and insurance are in order! This vehicle was being driven by a provisional licence holder, who was not properly supervised and he was not insured! Children in the vehicle were also unrestrained and necessary paperwork issued #T1RPU

There has been several incidents of ASB in Preston City Centre tonight involving EBikes. Specially trained resources are in the Ribbleton, City Centre and Callon areas and we will take the bikes off you! They are illegal and not for the roads! This one has just been seized!

We were in Skelmersdale on Saturday dealing with anti social driving. Several drivers reported for excess speed with 1 car being seized from a lone speeding provisional driver and 1 driver being arrested for drug driving for the second time in the last 24 hours. #OpCenturion

Motorbike officers were out on Saturday in Preston and Skelmersdale and have seized this motorbike for licence offence and defective parts. this e-bike for no licence, no insurance, due care and fail to stop. The e-scooter was seized for no licence or insurance. #OpCenturion

Another Surron off the roads, another unlicensed and uninsured rider awaiting prosecution. #t1RPU #ARV

As the weather conditions get worse please take extra care when using the roads. This weekend we are expecting heavy rain so please drive carefully. We tend to see an increase in collisions during poor weather as drivers do not drive to the conditions! #T1RPU

To the 14 people driving the wrong way down the motorway at J34 of M6 due to tailbacks from a collision your notice of impending prosecution is in the post. Not only did you delay officers dealing with the incident you caused a significant risk to those who did as they should!

These two drivers chose to drive at these speeds on the M61. Having been captured by MN14 they will now have to face the consequences! Road safety and casualty reduction on the roads is of massive importance! Please drive safely and stick to the speed limits!

🚓On Saturday morning patrols pursued a black VW Golf around the Ashton area! The driver, was arrested for drink, disqualified and dangerous driving, failing to stop for Police and driving without insurance. He was remanded to attend court and has since been remanded into prison!
