Three weeks ago I went to the cardiologist to get my test results. I was expecting the “talk” about eating healthier and getting more exercise, ya know, typical stuff. My wife and I sat there in disbelief as the dr gave us a litany of bad results. Starting with my heart functioning at 30% and honestly I didn’t hear much after that. I was staring down the barrel of heart surgery and the dread and anxiety was setting in. So I was scheduled to begin this journey today at 7am. But, yesterday as @AmericaPapaBear had posted asking for you guys to pray for me my wife and I went to the beach thinking it might be my last opportunity for quite some time. I told her that I felt sooo much better and I wasn’t getting winded in the least walking up and down the beach. That trend continued all day yesterday and into this morning. I just felt GREAT! No rhyme or reason, just had tons of energy for the first time in a LONG time. On to today. I was awake and fully conscious during the cath and asking questions of course 😂. The dr said, with an amazed look, I don’t see anything that I saw on the test results. Even a 50% blockage that was found 4 years ago during a heart cath in my LAD was not even close to being blocked at that same percentage. I am AMAZED. Don’t ever let anyone tell you that prayer doesn’t work. Today is absolute proof that it does and that God is still in control and still doing miracles! I know it, the drs and nurses over there know it and so do you guys! I can’t put into words how grateful I am to you guys! Thank you all so very much for not only thinking of me but praying for me.
