Draft Verhoeff. Either at 1 or trade down to 2.
Why? If you take McKenna you're moving someone out for a top D and there's none of those really available anyway. Just draft the D, keep your assets, and build around em

@joshbeleaf Omg relax. Every single coach from Babcock to Cooper uses him as a guy to help run a powerplay and the top defensive forward. Marner is amazing. Always has been. Teams would focus on shutting him down because they knew the 69 goal guy just wasn't gonna deliver.

Stifled all offence, no defensive structure, mismanaged his roster all ssn, repeatedly throws his players under the bus in post game comments… The fact that Tre refused to move off this coach in Nov/Dec to try and save the ssn is a bigger problem than the roster he created.
