When you jump to 24 you loosen the value, and reward mediocrity and then who says they will stop at 24 in the future? You should deserve to be in.

SOS is based on recruiting & poll rankings of those same opponents, so you’re always at the mercy of their performance. That's where the eye test & logo bias begin to set in over the season
