@HMRCcustomers Hi, is this correct - the rates for class 2 voluntary NICs for the tax years 16-17 up until 22-23 are the rates that applied in the 2022 to 2023 tax year AND I have until 5 Apr 2025 to pay them at that rate? (Also one year is a mix of class 2 and 3, does this make a difference?)

@LaneMatt Hi Matt. I'm sorry we didn't reply earlier. No, you do not put a Voluntary payment for an earlier down on the tax return. It is not an expense, it is something you have chosen to pay. Steve

Flaw in Tim Davie "fewer Oxbridge BBC recruits" case is that in makes no distinction between those who have got to top unis (not only Oxbridge) from poorer/non trad backgrounds. And at a time when unis are trying more pro-active recruitment too blunt an approach
