@OneMileataTime Wondering if this may help AA more. AA was set to gain gates based on summer 25 flying in the allocation process going on now and this helps cement it for a longer period as numbers will stay static. Reading the FAA order UA wanted reduction allocation based on gates.

@garyleff I think ORD needs to revisit this gate allocation process. Seemingly swapping out gates every year seems like an insane waste of money, especially when you see what they did to G with bridges only to have to possibly re do it.

@garyleff So is the thought that it won’t be the same numbers for this summer as it is last summer, they’ll both have to cut the same percentage from their schedules till they get to the overall number the FAA has proposed? Then with the spirit gates- how does that affect slots?

@garyleff @AmericanAir Same issue. 8 flight legs in 2026 and no free WiFi. With the loss of T Mobile - connection opens are now worse. Hope this roll out happens soon.

My third day flying @AmericanAir since they launched free wi-fi. And I've yet to see it free in the wild. They're even still selling subscriptions.

@garyleff Agreed completely. As an EP I almost moved away from AA after this summer. When I can’t count on arriving at a meeting on time and have to think about coming in the night prior…that’s an added expense I don’t have at an airline where the operation is reliable.
