Simon Nickelson (24th) joins Mike Willoughby (1972, 10th) and Luke Combs (2019, 3rd) as an IHSAA XC All-State finisher from Lapel HS. Jack Combs finished 81st today as two Bulldogs competed in the same state championship race for the first time. Great day to be a Bulldog!

Simon Nickelson will toe the line with Indiana’s best distance runners in XC Town USA at the IHSAA Cross Country State Championships this Saturday. Dawgs Run!

Congratulations to Cameron Smith for winning the Landes XC Invite hosted by Hamilton Heights. Also placing for the Dawgs in the boy’s race was Braxton Burress in 15th. Hannah Combs placed 12th for the girls.

Exciting, gritty race from the Dawgs in the boys 4x400m! Congrats to triple winner Elijah Stires (100m, 200m, 4x400m) and double winner Regan Stookey (100m, 200m).

Bulldogs still racing: Lauren Smith and Noelle Loller. HCAC Indoor T&F, Feb 20-21, Lauren was 800m champ for Manchester while finishing 2nd in 5000m and 3rd in the Mile. Noelle, competing for Anderson, placed 2nd in the Mile, 2nd in DMR, and 7th in 800m. Congratulations Dawgs!

Congrats to Lapel grad Luke Combs. Air Force wins the Mountain West XC title. Combs named first team all conference and freshman of the year.
