🚨 Pétrole : pourquoi les États-Unis profitent (pour l’instant) de la crise Depuis le début du conflit avec l’Iran, le marché du pétrole est totalement désaligné. Le WTI (pétrole US) tourne autour de 97$, tandis que : • Brent (global) ≈ 113$ • Dubaï ≈ 137$ • Oman ≈ 167$ On observe un écart historique, au plus haut depuis plus de 10 ans. La fermeture du détroit d’Ormuz met hors ligne près de 18% de l’offre mondiale. Mais les États-Unis sont relativement protégés, car moins de 8% de leur pétrole provient du Golfe persique. La production domestique est proche d’un record, avec 13,7 millions de barils par jour, et le pays est devenu exportateur net. 👉 En conséquence : • Les majors pétrolières US pourraient générer +60 milliards $ supplémentaires • Cet écart de prix agit comme un avantage compétitif massif pour l’économie américaine Mais ce “discount” américain ne durera pas forcément. Les réserves stratégiques sont en baisse, proches de leurs plus bas depuis les années 80. 👉 Le pétrole américain devrait progressivement s’aligner via les arbitrages (exports/imports). Si le reste du monde paie 120–160$, le pétrole US (WTI) ne peut pas rester longtemps à 90–100$.
