I just love how Carla builds Lisa up with confidence - True love and understanding at its best. Lisa really can’t take a compliment though can she?? I wish Lisa could see herself the way Carla see’s her. Slowly I think she’s starting to believe it. #Swarla

@EmmaHorsfa28434 Yes and there are many differing opinions on the whole situation. In my mind I’ve moved past that SL now. I hated it and I think Corrie didn’t get that one right at all but I’m ready to put all my efforts into enjoying the wedding now.

How I feel now we’re all back talking about whether Lisa suffered abuse at the hands of Becky or not. We already had 4 months of this and it’s exhausting. This time next week we’ll be a hour away from the “Royal Wedding” let’s concentrate on that! #Swarla

@duskysix I definitely felt like there was a moment of realisation of something within Lisa. Of what exactly I’m not too sure of but I felt it.

all #swarla ish scenes from 15/04/2026 my take: i could be wrong but i feel like lisa’s epilogue was an admission to b*cky’s abuse and if that’s the case, this changes everything for those last 5 months of b*cky’s return entirely. like i could finally forgive lisa. i think the hardest part is trying to reconcile how lisa treated carla, but the more i reflect on it, the more it feels like a tragic ripple effect from the control of b*cky.. like pain echoing outward. if i’m right in my assumption, lisa’s epilogue wasn’t just closure, it was a quiet reckoning with the long shadow of what she went through.. all the speculation of domestic abuse during the thick of it and it being a ‘story that needed to be told’ has potential to finally make sense. the todd and theo storyline hasn’t particularly peaked my interest and that’s not a dismissal of domestic abuse before anyone comes at me; it’s just not a storyline i’ve enjoyed. though you’d have to be a psycho to enjoy it. regardless, if this was an admission from lisa, it has tied up a lot of loose ends for that god forsaken storyline. it’s not absolution but it is a new found understanding. did anyone else take what lisa said in the same way? i know she didn’t admit it to the letter but her facial expressions, glassy eyes and just the general way she spoke as if there was a deep seated trauma within her.. i feel it was quite telling. i could be entirely wrong though and if i am then I still stand by everything i said over those months obviously 🙄 i’m not taking anything away from todd and his ordeal but i feel like there was more than one major point in this episode and since i’m only here for swarla, it’s swarla i’ll talk about 🫡

Wow @itvcorrie what an utterly brilliant episode. Sarah and George’s unwavering support of Todd and their reaction was so sad. And Gareth Pearce, @JacobRoberts90 and @VixMyers were exceptional. Lisa’s monologue at the end was a brilliant touch at the end. #Coronationstreet
