A heartbreaking incident was reported at Ilaramokin Junction, Ondo State. A mother, full of hope, had accompanied her child to a JAMB examination centre, just like many parents do, sacrificing their time, strength, and resources for their children’s future. But tragically, what began as a normal day turned into a painful loss. She suddenly became weak, collapsed, and passed away at the scene. This is not just a news story. This is a painful reminder of the silent pressures parents carry, emotionally, physically, and financially, just to secure a better future for their children. It's high time for our government and all relevant authorities to treat this with urgent action. The current realities surrounding JAMB and admission processes are placing overwhelming strain on families. there is a need for improved structure, better accessibility, reduced stress on candidates and parents, and a system that truly supports, not burdens, the people. No parent should have to go through such extreme stress in pursuit of education for their child. I pray we will not lose our life in the process of seeking a better future for our family in Jesus Name Our efforts will not end in sorrow.
