It's been reported that the library, with a capacity of at least 1,000 people, will be sold out to visitors for months. With Chicago residents paying at least $26 a ticket, millions of dollars will be coming in. So why are black local contractors saying they're still owed money and are now underwater financially? Will you finally pay them? When?
South Side residents say their rents and property taxes have gone through the roof because of the library. What are you going to do for the people being priced out of their own neighborhoods?
And one more thing: why are you living in Martha's Vineyard with the country's elite instead of Chicago? #thatreporter
