The Roman Empire didn't fall because of one invasion. It fell because the currency was debased until soldiers refused to fight for it. The Spanish Empire didn't collapse because it lost a war. It collapsed because it spent its wealth conquering instead of building. The British Empire didn't end because the colonies suddenly got stronger. It ended because maintaining global control became more expensive than the empire was worth. Every empire in history has ended the same way: military overextension drains the treasury, the currency gets debased to cover the shortfall, domestic infrastructure crumbles while resources flow to the periphery, and eventually the center can't hold. The pattern is 100% consistent across 3,000 years of recorded history.

In Australia, the government workers' pension contributions aren't even put aside. They are classified as unfunded superannuation scheme. Rather than setting aside money in an investment fund during the employee's working life, the government simply pays the promised retirement benefits out of general revenue when they fall due.

Here's something most people don't realize about Social Security: you pay 6.2% of every paycheck. Your employer pays another 6.2% — but almost all economists agree that the employer's share comes out of what they'd otherwise pay you in wages. So you're really paying 12.4%. Add Medicare at 2.9% and you're at 15.3%. On a $60,000 salary, that's $9,180 per year. If you're self-employed, you pay both halves yourself — the full 15.3% — because there's no employer to hide behind.
Now here's where it gets criminal: the government takes that money and invests it exclusively in Treasury bonds — earning a 2.5% return. If that same money had been in a basic index fund, the return would have been 10.9%. They take 15.3% of everything you earn, invest it in the worst-performing vehicle available.
In the Quantum future, Americans can self-direct contributions into diversified index funds, real assets, and appreciating instruments — the same investments that every wealthy person already uses.

Here's what real disclosure looks like versus fake disclosure. Fake disclosure: dramatic footage on cable news, breathless Pentagon briefings about "potential threats," a new congressional committee with a classified budget, defense contractors landing billion-dollar contracts to "protect us," and five years from now we still don't have access to a single piece of technology that came out of it. The fear tactics continue. The defense budget gets bigger. The secrecy apparatus expands. Same game, new branding.
Real disclosure: the engineering data enters the public domain. The materials science gets published. The propulsion breakthroughs developed in classified programs get released to the private sector. Entrepreneurs and engineers start building with it. Within a decade, the technologies that were locked in underground hangars for 80 years are powering cars, planes, and spacecraft. Your life changes completely.
The difference between real and fake disclosure is whether the technology reaches your house or stays in their vault. That's the only metric that matters. Everything else is theater. Quantum Party's position: release the technology. All of it.

Interest rates are so high that an entire generation can't afford a house or a car. They tell you it's to fight inflation. But the inflation was caused by printing trillions to fund wars and bailouts. So the government created the inflation by overspending on things that didn't serve you — and now you're paying for it three times. Once through higher taxes. Again through higher prices. And a third time through higher interest rates. You funded the problem. Now you're funding the solution to the problem. And neither the problem nor the solution ever benefited you.

Australia should be the wealthiest country in the world, but we are governed by totally incompetent and clueless fools.
China has approved another 10 nuclear power stations at a total cost of US$27 billion (~A$38 billion).
They will generate around 12,000 MW of electricity 24/7 for the Chinese economy.
In contrast, Australia is spending $42 billion on Snowy 2.0. which generates zero electricity.
In fact, it destroys energy, because the electricity used to pump the water uphill is around 40% more than the electricity it produces when the water is released to spin the turbines.
Even then, on an intermittent basis, Snowy 2.0 can only deliver a maximum of 2,000 MW.
If we keep this up, China is going to own us.
The decisions being made today by totally incompetent fools like Bowen and Albanese — with their Net Zero obsession — will impoverish future generations of Australians.
