My recently completed series named “Harmony in Hues”. Done with acrylic on paper. The first time I’m actually completing a series and I don’t have any story behind it, just interprete what you want

Dread it, Run from it, Destiny arrives all the same 💙

1) The surface of the Moon is covered in fine dust and rock called regolith. This material is not perfectly black, so it doesn't absorb all incoming sunlight. It reflects light in many directions because it is rough and uneven (this is called diffuse reflection). Even though the Moon is actually quite dark (it reflects only about 10–12% of sunlight), it still appears bright because it is illuminated by the very intense light of the Sun, and it contrasts strongly with the dark background of space. 2) A Full Moon occurs when the Earth is positioned between the Sun and the Moon, and the side of the Moon facing Earth is fully illuminated by sunlight. At this alignment, we see the maximum lit portion of the Moon so it appears brightest in our sky. Anything else?

Space is dark because light only becomes visible when it reaches your eyes directly or scatters into them, and space has almost nothing to scatter it. The Sun emits enormous amounts of light in all directions, and objects like the Moon reflect some of it. But light travels in straight lines through space. Empty space has almost no particles (no air, dust, or gas nearby). So there's nothing to scatter light around. Unless a beam of light comes directly from a source (like the Sun), or is reflected straight into your eyes (like from the Moon), you won't see it at all. Simple.
