@sbodrojan You’re so lucky to have never encountered the film bro. Having gone to film school and worked low level on movie sets, many times I crossed paths with this sort of guy (and likely was this guy to others at certain points).
@JattuTimo@nightwriter22@DAVID_LYNCH David personally said in his will to sell these items to the public. His kids are only following his wishes. He also said to sell his compound upon his death.
Dear Twitter Friends,
The last of the David Lynch Estate items are bring put up on eBay so hopefully even people without a lot of money will be able to partake. There will be some things up for auction and then some things for straight sales. Follow below. There are two things up now just to check to see how the auctions go, but keep your eyes peeled for a variety of things.

@nuhonecares@zoerosebryant the Dune movies are great because of Denis but I wouldn't love them anywhere as much as I do if Timothee wasn't Paul. He was born to play that role. I love Kyle, but thinking of some scenes from Part 2, the first thing I said when leaving the theater was that I was baffled by him
@zoerosebryant 2 of these he was barely in and 2 of them are unwatchable, and the dune trilogy is successful because of Denis. so that leaves us with Call me by your name, Little women, and Marty Supreme? He IS a great actor but he has definitely talked enough shit.
@TRENCHCOATOPERA as a white fan, it drives me insane. saw some reddit post about how armand hammer "ruined all other hip-hop because it means nothing after hearing them" and that shit just irked me. there's so much music to love in this genre, its so pretentious to say that shit. be normal plz
@TreMission@TRENCHCOATOPERA Fall Back from "Known Unknowns", Crocodile Tears from "History Will Absolve Me", Crawlspace from "Hiding Places", Soft Landing from "Maps", No Hard Feelings from "Aethiopes", Great Fires from "Terror Management" and All Jokes Aside from "Church". Good summation of his work.
Quelle Chris verses soundin' crazy as usual on this new ARMAND HAMMER. FANS should be more unhinged about what that man does with the pen and behind the beats. Amazing!!! One of the leaders of the last 15 years. Has a catalog that can stand up to anyone!
@RyanGilda422 I think I will wither away and die of happiness if we get an Elucid x Sebb album. Been spinning Did You Enjoy Your Time Here...? and Switchboard like mad to the point where I got his beat tapes. Would also adore another BWxMM tape. And don't even joke about a Vordul album...
Predictions for Backwoodz in 2026?
Brass and Terror Management represses
New woods x Moor Mother album
Castro and/or PremRock solos
ELUCID with Sebb Bash
woods memoir
Vordul or Breeze Brewin album *fingers crossed*
@BackwoodzHipHop@nomoneyforfilm if we get 3 albums and a memoir in under a year, its not even a debate for a best writer alive. its not about rap at this point. eventually the writing transcends the medium of music. "After me they gon' live on, They gon' be here when all y'all is gone"!!!!
absolutely amazing to hear @BackwoodzHipHop sample Nightmares by @Mike_Eagle on the new Golliwog remix album, especially after woods said that was his favorite OME song that he tried (and failed) to get Mike to perform at his solo show in LA this summer. Absolute classic!
@BackwoodzHipHop That whole intro verse is amazing, I think the safe metaphor in it might be my favorite piece of writing in his catalog. Nothing hits like that newspaper line to me.
makin a mix - hit me with the most *underrated* beach boys tracks. nothing off of pet sounds, no big radio hits, etc. deep cuts or unreleased tracks only
@BackwoodzHipHop Last night I saw Woods and told him about some writing I did about Make No Mistake. He asked where he could read it, but I haven't published it anywhere. Is there anywhere I can send it to have it read?
@theunseenn I think this refers to his dad, "the king" of the house, being dead and his side of the family not helping his family after he's dead. woods' uncles abandoned him and his family, this has nothing to do with Kendrick.
@cervursi@surfjerkk yes and i checked his scrobbles for it, and he was scrobbling it once every minute of the hour at some points, which was around 36 hours of the song in a single day period. so unless he's listening to it on 11x speed, I don't think he's playing this nearly as much as he says.
