TIPPING IS OUT OF CONTROL! Before you get upset, let me explain. I’m not against tipping. I usually tip well when service is good. What I oppose is the growing expectation of tipping a certain percentage based solely on the food total, which has gotten out of hand. They didn't cook my food, grow the potatoes, or catch my lobster. They don't own the restaurant. They took my order, served the food, and refilled my drink, not that I am trying to minimize their job. I agree they still deserve a tip. But the tip shouldn’t include the sales tax as many add it in. But why should my tip go up if I order a $200 Wagyu steak instead of a $25 burger? They didn't increase their effort or have to work harder. The menu price reflects the restaurant's pricing, not the server's effort. Relying on a percentage for tipping lazy and needs to change. The service is the same no matter the meal, and that is what I should be tipping based on, PERIOD! What are your thoughts?

Why are there not annual medical exams for elected officials to check for mental and physical decline, like the president, to show if they are fit to serve? We need changes in our government, as many of these senators and members of Congress are not mentally able to do their jobs.
