Red Wings vs Bruins 1962-63.
Wings players L to R: Alex Delvecchio, Parker Mcdonald and Gordie Howe. You'll have to name the Bruins players (I'm too lazy to type it out 😉). #NHL #OldTimeHockey #LGRW #RedWings #Bruins #NHLBruins

@GoldenChoiceX @MatthewNichol5 Growing up my grandfather parked on Racine. By a church. Senior citizen day Tuesday. Went every Tuesday. Ladies Day Friday. My aunt or mother who just passed at 92. Dogs were 4 for a dollar. Hamburgers were 5 for a dollar. We got to pick. 1962 to 1969.

Stan Musial speaks to the Wrigley Field crowd before his final game in Chicago on September 25, 1963.
He was lavished with gifts including the shotgun he is leaning on.
The other gift the Cubs gave him was the 492 career hits he got against them! 🤣

"He never complained about his team's bad luck or bad talent, never stopped playing the game for joy, never stopped giving his all, never lost his proud demeanour, and never acted like anything but a winner.
He was the symbol of the Cub fan's undiminishing resilience.
If he could be happy to come to the park each afternoon, then so could we."
Joe Mantegna on Ernie Banks.

@johnondrasik Quite a comeback of the team that I saw 668 games. My brick was moved from Clark to Waveland as new construction was produced. Saw the Bears there also where Sayers ended his career. But the big hit came in the 9th as Pat Hughes yelled get out the tape measure. Swannie did it.
