Just got the quote to fully replace my garage door.
It came in *125%* higher than when I first got an estimate from the guy a few months back.
The cited reason?
50% tariffs on steel and aluminum.
And the company lost 3 of their 7 employees in ICE raids in the past month. His new employees (who are most likely also illegal) are charging a lot more to risk coming to work.
And yes, I am sure they are price gouging the shit out of these crises too.

I JUST WATCHED SUPERMAN! And... as expected, it's a disappointment. The tone is juvenile, quite silly with a messy narrative. David Corenswet lacks the presence and stature of Henry Cavill, no comparison. The cinematography feels like a TV show, with blurry shadows, the costumes are amateurish, reinforcing the cheap production vibe. James Gunn failed to capture Superman's essence, delivering a repetitive, soulless film that rehashes other movies' stories and fails miserably. It felt like watching a parody, both visually and with annoyingly dumb dialogue. DC needs a reboot NOW! Full review tomorrow! #Superman
