@JDMatrixWave @ZelenskyyUa America First is the major problem here. Everyone outside America disagree with that selfish, selfindulged idea that all the world should help Trump with his "America First" doctrine while not even being allowed to influence our own future. What if we did that to You?

Appreciate the offer, but the US & our partners will ensure the Strait of Hormuz reopens—one way or another—by enforcing international law, not through Ukrainian naval drones. Iran’s illegal blockade threatens global energy security. Time for the world (esp. Europe & Asia) to step up, while we focus on ending the war in Ukraine through realistic negotiations. America First.

Our signal to the United States and countries in the Middle East about the Strait of Hormuz was that we were open to discussing it. As of today, I don't see any country lifting the blockade on its own, only joint steps can bring results. Ukraine has experience with launching the Grain Corridor in the Black Sea despite Russia’s attempts to block the flow of food and other goods. The situation now is similar, but it is about energy. Our suggestion – based on our experience – was as follows. The war and the negotiations on reopening the Hormuz Strait can go in parallel. It’s worth trying to find a diplomatic solution, and this could be beneficial for both sides in the war. An alternative step would be to control the Strait unilaterally, as Ukraine did with the Grain Corridor. Achieving this would require interceptors, military convoys to escort the vessels, a large integrated electronic warfare network, and other tools. We stand ready to help with this. But for now, we are not yet involved. So far, no one has made such a request. We are simply sharing our knowledge. If one day our partners want to make use of it, we would be ready. When your country is smaller than the enemy, you must figure out their weaknesses and set priorities. How does the Russian economy work? It depends on energy. Sanctions affected it. Our deep strikes affected it. The increase in energy exports from the Middle East and the United States affected it. All of these things pushed the Russian budget into a deficit of around $100 billion in 2026. Now, their energy revenues are rising daily and this doesn’t help us. From an interview with Axios (3/3).

@limits2test @ZelenskyyUa Oh Russian friend! It is so amusing when you pose as americans and then make a "give-away" that proves you russian desinformation agents. Simple: The average american has NO clue to Swedish-Russian wars. You russians do! By the way: Ukraine is winning!❤️🇺🇦

@Lars_Onsala @ZelenskyyUa And then you strayed into history and away from the point. And you clearly do not understand that this SMO was not about the land. But now, it will be and Ukraine will be landlocked and wrecked, there is no other choice for Russia. As for all previously Swedish lands-go get them

The Russians have whipped up pro-war sentiment internally to such an extent that if we don't stop Putin now, war will continue. He will pick some small country. He needs it. He’s boosted the war economy and radicalized the Russians. Today, 20–25% young people in Russia want to destroy Ukraine and Europe; they want to restore Soviet influence and revive the idea of destroying NATO. This will not just vanish. So he will have to choose: either face a split in the society, or take a few steps into one of the Baltic states and set down his right or left foot there. He’ll go for the second option. He will not risk himself, his life, or domestic stability. From an interview with Reuters (5/5).

@Lars_Onsala @ZelenskyyUa Sweden attacked Russia first, that happened in 1554. Sweden was one of Europe’s most expansionist and militarily aggressive states during the 16th–17th centuries. The Baltics and Finland were under Swedish control, so talking about imperialism….

@limits2test @ZelenskyyUa The swedish princess Anna, in russia called Olga, daughter of the first christian king of Sweden/Svitjod Olof Skötkonung was married to Jaroslav (?) in the early 1000. Long before that, our king Ragnar Lodbrok "Lothbrok" and his sons were fighting on the coast of the Black Sea

@limits2test @ZelenskyyUa Finland was never under our occupation. Finland was the eastern part of Sweden. As were Karelia and Livonia and Ingria. This was parts of the older kingdom Svitjod, a predecessor of Sweden that at some times included Kyjiv and always included Novgorod plus the Karelia marshland.

@limits2test @ZelenskyyUa What you fail to understand, is that we, the peoples who has lived near Russia for houndreds of years, see Russia as the constant threat. Because it is! Sweden has been at war with Russia 14 times. Finland occupied for 100 years. The baltics have lost count and the Ukrainians to.

@limits2test @ZelenskyyUa No stupid - It does NOT! Ukraine has never threatened Russia with ABC-weapons. Ukraine gave up all nuclear weapons 1994. It is Russia that threatens Ukraine.

@limits2test @ZelenskyyUa Yes. Sometimes a preemptive strike is the best way of defence. If you are waiting for your enemy to deploy bacterias over your country (President Gamal Nasser in Helwanproject 1967) or waiting for a nuclear strike (Iran 2026) it is a better option to strike first.

@AnneBootsyanne @ZelenskyyUa The USA government does not know Russia "way better" then Ukraine does. The neighbouring country's of Russia knows Russia. The peoples that have experienced decades and centuries of Russian occupation knows Russia. You stupid selfindulged americans DON'T!

We do not see any genuine desire from Russia to end the war, and we share this view with our partners. The United States believes that Putin wants the war to end. Our views here are completely different. On one hand, that’s not a problem – it’s normal for opinions to differ. But on the other hand, when we want to end the war, to accelerate this process, we raise the issue of putting pressure on Russia. We know that Putin does not want to end the war. We call for additional pressure to make him want to. But the U.S. believes he wants to end it, so why apply extra pressure if Russia is showing it is also ready for peace? There are different perspectives on certain issues, and this is something we need to work through. From an interview with Le Monde (3/5).

@AsfyXi @YB_Sodermalm Ursäkta men hur tänker folk?
